SUMIBISHIN®︎ is a beautiful being like a goddess drawn with Sumi-ink by Hoca Higuchi.

今回の個展では、ご好評の『墨美神®︎きもの掛軸』も新作を展示します。
In this solo exhibition, will also exhibit the work "SUMIBISHIN®︎ Kimono Kakejiku(hanging scroll)".
『墨美神®︎きもの掛軸』とは
日本の伝統文化である着物地を素材に、
着物地に描いた『墨美神®︎』に、着物を着付けるように裂地を重ねていく樋口鳳香による創作掛軸。
裂地選びは元より樋口鳳香自ら表装まで手がける、唯一無二の新しい掛軸のかたちです。
"SUMIBISHIN®︎ kimono Kakejiku(hanging scroll)" is a creative hanging scroll that uses beautiful Japanese kimono.
This is a new and unique form of hanging scroll like no other.
Hoca Higuchi handles everything from fabric selection to mounting.
『墨美神®︎きもの掛軸』は、床の間だけでなく、現代住宅のあらゆる空間に飾ることも考えています。
玄関や廊下など、ちょっとした空間にも掛けることができるように仕立てています。
In the past, hanging scrolls were displayed in the tokonoma(alcoves), but in recent years, the number of tokonoma in modern homes has decreased.
“SUMIBISHIN®︎ Kimono Hanging Scroll” is designed to be displayed not only in the alcove but also in any space in a modern home.
It is designed so that it can be hung in small spaces such as entrances and hallways.

和紙や、着物ににじむ墨のアートを多くの方に楽しんでいただければ幸いです。
