Hoca Higuchi is a famous Sumi-ink painter in Japan who received the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare Award.
The SUMIBISHIN®︎ is a beautiful being like a goddess drawn with Sumi-ink by Hoca Higuchi.

The theme of this year's solo exhibition is "Spring Joy" and "Pray for Peace".
The beauty of delicate ink lines and the dynamism of Sumi-ink painting coexist Please enjoy the world of Ink Beauty Painting = SUMIBISHIN®︎ drawn by Hoca Higuchi.
2021年より展開している『墨美神®︎きもの掛軸』も、新作を展開。
（※『墨美神®︎きもの掛軸』は、表装に着物を使った唯一無二の樋口鳳香による創作掛軸です）
軸装は川鍋暁斎や伝説の絵師たちも自分で手掛けて、
作品世界を深めるための大切なツールとしていました。
また、水墨画に彩色を若干ほどこした『墨美神®︎墨彩画』は、
俵屋宗達に始まる江戸琳派へと継承された「たらし込み技法」で描いたシリーズ。
こちらは額装でお目見えします。
今回は東京都美術館で開催の『現水展』でしかみることのできない120号の作品も特別展示されます。
お手に取りやすい小品も揃えての展示です。
多くの皆さまのご来場をお待ちしております。

("SUMIBISHIN®︎ Kimono Kakejiku" is a unique hanging scroll that uses a kimono devised by Hoca Higuchi.)
Kyosai Kawanabe and legendary painters also worked on the hanging scrolls themselves, It was an important tool for deepening the world of the work.
In addition, a series of "SUMIBISHIN®︎ Bokusaiga" is a slightly colored Sumi-ink painting.
A series drawn using the tarashikomi technique inherited from the Edo Rinpa school, which began with Sotatsu Tawaraya. You can see this framed.
This time, a special exhibition of a large 2 meter high work that can only be seen at the "Contemporary Ink Painting Exhibition" held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum.
